iPhone Tip: Did You Lose Your Email Message?
If you’ve owned an iPhone long enough, then you know that sometimes AT&T’s spotty signal can cause you some problems, especially when working with web apps or with your email.
Have you ever tried to send an email on your iPhone, only to have it “disappear” because you lost your signal? Your first reaction is to worry because it seems like the message might be lost.
But, hey, it’s really no big deal! When you lose signal while sending a message, your iPhone holds the message in a temporary Outgoing mail folder. As soon as you have decent signal again, your message will be sent and you should be able to find it in your Sent folder (if you use IMAP, be sure to check in whatever folder your sent messages go to).
Don’t sweat it…Your message was never lost, just delayed a while.
